The Winners of the Tango Worldchampionship are dancing at El Querandi Tango Show in San Telmo

When you get tickets for Tango Show in Buenos Aires and you choose El Querandi, you have certain chances of seeing the best Tango dancers of the world. Cristian Palomo and Melisa Sacchi won the prize a few days ago. Tango is not a dance, Tango is a passion, Cristian and Melisa as many other dancers had dedicated their whole lives to dance it. Now you know where dance the tango worldchampions!

Melisa spent seventeen years dancing and Cristian got into the Tango world “recently” and they had been dancing fervently the last four years. Fervently means to spend every minute of their lives and every penny of their pockets in lessons and practices. El Querandi Tango Show in San Telmo has the privilege of having this Tango World Champions who also won last year the Second Place. So this little Tango House of San Telmo is the only one who has Champions and Runners up!



According to Cristian Palomo, “I had many great teachers but my best master is my partner Melisa”. Meanwhile Melisa opens the secrets of the core of Tango: “A great teacher told us that for dancing Tango mind, heart and legs are needed. And so it is. Think, feel and move all those feelings to the dance. Dancing what you feel. Really feel it, that's the secret of dancing beautifully a Tango"



The category they won is Tango-to-floor, which essentially improvised. We are posting two videos, in the first, you just can check the first 30 seconds to see how these couple just explodes when they get awarded, and how the “rivals” are supporting and clapping them. In the contest -The most important of the world- participated 1900 couples from Russia, Colombia, Venezuela, Korea, The Netherlands, Italy and of course all around Argentina.

El Querandi is a petit Tango House established in a Cafe from 1920, dressed in ebony. Seats are limited and in the other hand the menu is the widest in town, with excellent options and the best wine menu included in the standard dinner.
